KidsCAN! is a peer empathy, education, and emotional social learning program for children who have a parent or primary caregiver battling cancer. These support programs include gatherings run by hospital staff where children learn about their parent or primary caregiver’s diagnosis with age-appropriate lessons and emotional support.

KidsCAN! is a self-referral patient support program available at all of our partner hospitals. Families can contact their nurse navigator or social worker to learn more and get registered. The program offers a safe, supportive space for children to navigate a parent’s cancer diagnosis with guidance and care.
