Let’s
Tackle
Cancer
Together

When an adult is diagnosed with cancer, their children have to navigate the ways the diagnosis impacts them and their families. We provide children with age-appropriate information and tools to help them process their parent or primary caregiver’s cancer diagnosis and create memory-making experiences that support their mental and emotional well-being.

OUR
PROGRAMS

We support kids through a parent or primary caregiver’s cancer diagnosis with age-appropriate education, a peer empathy community, fun events, and scholarships.

OUR
STORY

Brothers Torry and Terrence Holt are two NC State football stars who went on to enjoy successful careers in the NFL. But their early years were not easy ones. When the boys were just 10 and 6 years old, and their older sister Tosha was 14, their mother, Ojetta, was diagnosed with lymphoma. Ojetta passed away ten years after her initial diagnosis, and her long battle profoundly impacted the entire family.
